What the Studies on PreticXTM and Bacillus subtilis Say
The XOS sugars in PreticXTM have been shown to support the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study by researchers at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), published in the peer-reviewed journal Frontiers of Physiology, showed that daily doses as low as 1g of PreticXTM significantly modified gut microbiota. PreticXTM helped to grow more species of good gut bacteria and reduce bad bacteria in both healthy people and in overweight people with unhealthy blood glucose levels.

Between 2008 and 2019, dozens of scientific studies in adult humans have shown the safety and efficacy of Bacillus subtilis as a probiotic. One recent study, for example, showed that after taking Bacillus subtilis probiotic supplements for 30 days, study participants had significant improvement in their symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort, such as bloating, pain, and indigestion.
